Your sim card WILL work in any phone that has a sim card slot but... honestly I bought a sidekick and i hated it so much. it took horrible pictures, you couldn't send picture message, talking on the phone wasn't high quality or even decent quality... I would get rid of it lol. I had mine for 1 week and ditched it. Get yourself a blackberry :) You'll never leave blackberry when you get your first one :D

The Sidekick stores all of it's data server side. It would possibly make phone calls with a normal T-mobile account, but none of the other functions would work. You need to upgrade to a sidekick specific plan from T-mobile. This will set up your account to authenticate with the Sidekick servers.
