Question: Sennheiser mx w1 earbuds compatible with mobile phone radio?

Does anyone who owns a pair of these know whether they are compatible with the radio option on most phones (specifically an LG Arena). Normally the headphone wires act as an aerial for the radio. These are wireless but are used with a transformer that attaches to the phone. does the transformer act as an aerial or not? I really would appreciate an answer if anyone knows definitely yes or no. I bought some for my husband's birthday; he mainly listens to the radio on his phone and so they are useless if they can't be used for this. I can't take them out of the box and try them because the box is sealed, if I open it, I can't send them back.... Also anyone know if they are OK to use on planes? Being wireless would they interfere in the same way as mobile phones do and have to be switched off on a plane. ta |
